The bracelet at left center is an example of Loma workmanship in which a band of copper has been hammered and twisted into the desired shape. The Dan bracelet at the top has an overall braided effect, while the Sapo/Kran piece at the right center has its decoration around the outside edge only. The Kpelle bracelet at the bottom is hollow and contains small stones so that it functions as a single encircling bell.
